Lucy has revealed that she has changed her mind about the number of kids she wants to have with partner Ryan Ledson in the interim. The couple revealed in September 2022 that Blackpool resident Lucy was five months along with Ryan’s first pregnancy, their first child together. However, Lucy experienced a terrible loss back in March 2022, so their good news was delayed.
While appearing on the current reality series Drama Queens, a tearful-eyed Lucy recalled her first pregnancy, saying, “In the first year that me and Ryan were together I fell pregnant for the first time.” They were “really excited,” she stated, but then she continued, saying, “And we booked a scan and we… I feel like I’m gonna get upset.”
“We went for the first scan and I didn’t expect that anything would be wrong and [the nurse] told us that there was no heartbeat,” she said after taking a moment to gather herself. that the infant had passed away.”
Subsequently, Lucy broke down in tears as they celebrated Sonny’s first birthday. She was heard expressing that the “harder times” they experienced before becoming pregnant with Sonny, which were “filled with so much anxiety,” made her family seem “even more special” to her.
Now that Sonny is on a better sleep schedule, Lucy has disclosed that she has changed her mind about having three children, despite having earlier told Ryan that she was eager to have a large family. “I’ve decided to change my mind,” she said to Fabulous from The Sun. “I was unable to complete it! Laura, my sister, also has three boys. Perhaps just one more.
“I enjoy being a young mother. I keep telling myself, “You are 29 this year,” even though I feel like I’m still 17. Having kids alters everything. Now that Sonny is a little older, we are starting to taste again our normal lives. He is getting better sleep and is willing to stay at other people’s homes.
“He remained with his grandparents while we traveled to Barcelona in May with friends. We were saying to one other, “This is amazing, but I don’t want to get too used to it because when we have another baby, I’ll be like, ‘S**t, this is awful!’”
