It is the first marriage for Sue who previously opened up about never marrying or having children because of her job and successful career starring in everything from Dinnerladies to Heartbeat, Shameless to Mamma Mia on a worldwide tour.
Speaking in 2016, she told The Big Issue: “I never married because I was married to the job.
“I never had any children and I’m now nearly 50 and I think I’ve missed that opportunity but it’s only because I was busy doing what I was doing.”
She added: ”People think you can have it all – I don’t think you can. I like to do one thing and not juggle about 25 plates.
