Tonight, Paul Foreman has his last day of freedom outside of the apartment as

he bids farewell to the outside world. The soap opera follows Billy and Paul as they

venture through Weatherfield’s streets to make the most of Paul’s final day outside

in a special episode that is only dedicated to his story.

In March of last year, Paul received a motor neurone disease (MND) diagnosis. Ever since, he has had difficulty accepting his condition. Furthermore, he is currently facing his final few months of life as his condition has gotten out of control.

Paul’s unfortunate news
Earlier this week, Paul received even more devastating news: he will no longer be able to leave his home because his stairlift is no longer safe for him to use. And Paul’s day gets worse when he wakes up to discover that his speech has also significantly degraded.

He and Billy have a tearful day as they cross off items on Paul’s bucket list to do while he is still able to. Will Paul use his last day outside to the fullest?

Coronation Street spoilers tonight: Paul’s big day out
As the day begins, Paul wakes to discover that his speech has drastically deteriorated overnight. However, he is determined to enjoy his last day outside after being told that he can no longer safely use the stairlift.

Paul and Billy have a day filled with Paul’s favorite activities, which he still enjoys doing. Both men experience a range of emotions as they visit friends and family on the street.

Will Billy and Paul take full advantage of his final day outside?
