Jacob Roloff had a dark past due to his family’s decision to be a part of reality TV through LPBW. He opened up about being sexually assaulted as a kid by a show producer. Since then, he has been against people featuring children on reality shows or exposing them to social media. He and his wife Isabel also take measures to keep their child, Mateo’s face, away from the cameras and social media.
But Jacob’s sisters-in-law Audrey and Tori have made a career out of putting their kid’s faces on their Instagram and the show. It is their source of livelihood as they are social media influencers. Well, the former decided to take a dig at them by sharing details about a new amendment in Illinois Child Labor laws. It said Influencer families will be required to put 15% of their total earnings from monetary videos featuring their kids in their bank accounts.
Without saying much, Jacob simply wrote: “too low.” Many LPBW fans discussed this on Reddit. Others suggested that Audrey and Tori may come up with loopholes to stop their kids from making mone. They might do so by only sharing content that features themselves. Others found it too sad that they were using their kids’ obviousness and innocence to make money.

Jacob Roloff came into the limelight after quitting the show for his allegations against the producer Chris Cardamone. The LPBW fans were heartbroken after this reveal and lauded the star for speaking his truth. Since then, he began to speak his mind more freely in the social media space about all the injustices and unpleasant things he had to go through.
The star once used Twitter to set the record straight. He found it hilarious how people would assume he is rich for being a child star on LPBW. Roloff said he made only $6 an hour when he was a child star on the show. he does sometimes wish he should have continued to star in the show as it meant making easy money.
But Jacob wanted to stay true to himself and his principles, so he decided to quit. He ended the post by saying, “Life is complicated.” Viewers agreed that $6 an hour was far too low but again supported Jacob for doing the right thing.
