In the latest drama on Coronation Street, Daisy Midgeley is facing heartbreak as Ryan Connor decides to spend a night out with someone else rather than with her. Despite their recent reconciliation and marriage, the couple’s relationship is about to hit a major snag. After a tumultuous period following an acid attack that drew them closer, Ryan and Daisy had to navigate a rocky road, especially with Daisy’s ex-fiance, Daniel Osborne, deeply hurt by their affair.

Ryan’s attempt to rebuild his life in Glasgow fell short, and he returned to Weatherfield to resume his romance with Daisy. Recently, Daisy found herself living in a house at The Rovers, which had been previously occupied by Glenda. With Glenda moving out, the room was offered to Kit Green, a local police officer who is known for bending the rules. Kit, who has a notorious reputation and is connected to the community as Bernie Winter’s son and Gemma and Paul’s brother, has shown little interest in his family. Instead, he seems to be using his position and his time at The Rovers to flirt with Daisy.

As Kit settles in, Ryan becomes increasingly fascinated by Kit’s impressive vinyl collection, much to Daisy’s frustration. She is infuriated to find that Ryan is choosing to spend his nights with Kit instead of her. Kit appears to be deliberately stirring trouble between the couple, creating tension and confusion.

Meanwhile, Coronation Street viewers are also witnessing the fallout from another betrayal. Fiz Stape is grappling with the revelation that her husband, Tyrone Dobbs, has been rekindling a connection with his ex, Alina Pop. Alina’s return to Weatherfield, three years after leaving to testify against human traffickers, has caused a stir, particularly with the news that she secretly had Tyrone’s son, Doran, while away.

Fiz’s anger escalates when she discovers that Tyrone lied about a large payment, which was actually intended for a consultation regarding Doran. She is further appalled when Tyrone expresses his desire for Alina and Doran to move to Weatherfield permanently, so he can be more involved in his son’s life. Fiz’s daughter Hope is struggling to accept Alina’s return, especially after Alina previously miscarried during a fire ignited by Hope.

Compounding the drama, Alina starts receiving threatening calls ahead of the trial. Tyrone initially suspects Hope is behind the threats but soon realizes he is mistaken when Alina is attacked in her hotel room by a thug attempting to intimidate her into dropping the trial. Alina’s future in Weatherfield hangs in the balance as she contemplates whether to proceed with her testimony or flee.

In other news, Beth Sutherland is on the hunt for a new job after her counterfeit goods scandal at Underworld. After secretly producing counterfeit products to fund a wedding surprise for her partner Kirk, Beth faced backlash when Underworld’s Carla Connor accused her and her accomplices of exploitation. The situation worsened when Beth’s illegal activities were exposed by her son Craig Tinker and Kit Green, leading to further complications.
