LITTLE People, Big World star Matt Roloff has shared his thoughts about whether the show will return.

The long-running series aired its Season 25 finale on Tuesday, April 23, and fans are questioning if the show will continue.

During the episode, Matt’s son, Zach, 33, and his wife, Tori, 32, bid farewell to their time on the TLC series, which they announced in February was happening.

While fans have been speculating for months that the show won’t last much longer, Matt, 62, cleared the air in a social media post.

On Friday, the TV personality shared a lengthy message on Facebook, answering fans’ most-asked questions.

The first one was about the show’s future, which Matt revealed is still up in the air.

“Was last Tuesday’s episode the ‘Season’ or ‘Series’ Finale?” the question read, to which Matt explained it’s unknown, given much of the family doesn’t want to film anymore.

It was previously revealed that Matt’s fiance, Caryn Chandler, 56, and other family members wanted to end the show.

This comes years after Matt and his ex-wife Amy’s other children, Jeremy, 33, Jacob, 27, and Molly, 30, bowed out of the program.

“As more and more family members drift away from the show it becomes more difficult to produce the same content,” Matt admitted in his post.

The reality star later said about the possibility of a Season 26, “Nobody really knows at this point– I feel very content and satisfied with the run of shows and the journey we shared with you all!”

He concluded his response, “You never know what the future may bring so if you are me– (and apparently TLC too?) I hate saying goodbye– Only See ya later!”

Many devoted fans expressed their disappointment in the comments that the show might be ending its nearly two-decade run.

LPBW aired its first episode in March 2006, documenting the lives of the then-married couple, Matt and Amy, 61 — who both have a form of dwarfism — raising their three average-sized children and their son Zach, who also has a form of dwarfism.

It eventually morphed into highlighting the family’s dynamic after Matt and Amy’s divorce, moving on with their new spouses, and following Zach and Tori as they raise their three young kids, who all have dwarfism.

Many fans threatened to boycott the show after Zach and Tori announced their departure, with many saying it “won’t be the same” without them.

Others have complained that they were over the family drama, with a major storyline being about Zach and Tori’s feud with Matt after the patriarch turned down their offer to purchase a portion of Roloff Farm.

Matt defended the show in March after receiving harsh criticism from fans online.

“Time to hang it up … so boring the show has lost its charm … time to move on and all find your true happiness…” one fan commented on Matt’s Instagram post, urging his followers to tune in.

“Amy looks miserable, Zach can still barely parent and Matt and Caryn need to start their new journey… good luck to all,” the user added.

Matt sarcastically clapped back at the troll, “I wonder why so many people still tune in. Very strange.”

Another viewer continued to bash the series, “None of your kids really in the show anymore. It’s kinda sad.”

Matt again responded, “Not sad. Happy very successful 20 year show. Still playing in your living room to this day.”

“All the kids are happy in their own homes. With beautiful children. What more can you ask for?”
