However, this job alone did not help Niles. He revealed he was doing food deliveries to save money for his trip. Nile knew he was going to spend at least $3000, and also a bride price which he had to pay Matilda’s family.

Niles has been dating Matilda for two years since meeting her on social media. Matilda had sent a DM to Niles “out of nowhere.” At first, he thought it was too good to be true because she was beautiful. Matilda’s smile made Miles feel “a type of way.” Given what he had been through, Niles didn’t think that love was possible for him. Niles had told Matilda that he was overly sensitive, he didn’t like noise, and that he could become easily overwhelmed. Matilda knew that coming to Ghana was going to be hard for him.

Matilda revealed that she didn’t have a good job in Ghana. She was helping her mother out at the market. Matilda sold roasted plantains and ground nuts. To Matilda, Offinso was a boring place because it didn’t have clubs or big restaurants. Matilda declared she wanted to move to the U.S. to start her future there. Matilda explained how difficult it is to make money in Offinso. Her father used to be a carpenter, but he passed away. Matilda revealed that the market was not good for plantains. “Sometimes now you won’t even get half of the money,” she added.
