Nicole met Mahmoud when she was on a trip in Egypt. She saw him across a store and just knew that he was the one for her. They began dating and soon, she spent more time with him in Egypt and they got married. Things were not easy for her though.

In Egypt, she felt as if Mahmoud wanted her to change herself to fit into the role of a Muslim woman. Nicole didn’t want to change her looks, but Mahmoud continued to push her to cover her body. Eventually, Nicole couldn’t take living in Egypt any longer. She told him that she loved him, but he would have to move to the States if he wanted to stay married.

Mahmoud ended up coming to the United States to be with her, but things got worse. Nicole tried to get Mahmoud out with her and her friends, but he never wanted to meet new people or go out. He wasn’t a fan of her lifestyle and this was clear on the few episodes of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After they appeared on. No one can be sure if they are still together, but we will continue to keep an eye on them to find out more.
