This past week, Cleo shared with her fans that she and Christian had parted ways. Her post was incredibly emotional and she was very open with her fans about how much she still loved Christian,  but things just didn’t work out for them.

Fans were shocked to see that in her latest post, she was basically telling her followers that she was in some serious financial debt. She shared a video that included the link to her GoFundMe so that she could have gender-affirming surgery.

Her Instagram post read, “Cleo’s gender-affirming journey – I started a transition Gofund me. Link in Bio – First of all, I just want to say, that I’m aware this means absolutely nothing in the great scheme of things, and the world, and each and every one of you and your families, take absolute priority.

That being said, this is something that holds the power to change my life for the better. I want to just be able to move past this stage of my life that has dragged for the past 11 years and move on with my life and be helpful and dedicated to my communities.”

She went on, “My gender dysphoria causes me to devalue myself, which has a domino effect in the way I live my life, and especially on the boundaries in my interpersonal relationships.

I am tired of not feeling at ease with my body. It is incredibly hard for me to value myself as an individual because of my gender dysphoria.

The cost of gender-affirming surgeries, endocrinologist visits to enhance my hormone replacement therapy, voice therapy, and laser hair removal has been financially out of reach for me. I have decided that life is too short to be spent living in regret.”

Cleo went on to mention that her depression had started to get the best of her and that this surgery would make all of her dreams finally come true. She had a lot of fans show their support and they realized that it took a lot for her to get online and share her struggle.
