Emmerdale’s Chas finds out the truth as Aaron’s heartbreaking cancer lie exposed

Emmerdale’s Aaron Dingle lie is exposed next week.

Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) desperately tries to cover the truth of Aaron’s (Danny Miller) real result in the gene test in the face of Chas Dingle’s (Lucy Pargeter) probing questions.

As Liam hurriedly exits, Chas is deeply concerned as to what he’s implied. When Chas asks Aaron a direct question about the gene test, he betrays the truth through the briefest glance. Aaron’s gone straight to anger and denial as he struggles to process his emotions now that his mum knows the truth.

Aaron makes clear to Liam that he’s crossed a line. The following day, when Chas asks a visibly injured Liam, if Aaron’s fists are to blame, Liam can’t help but acquiesce with her surmising. Liam desperately persuades Chas to stop from immediately confronting Aaron and to take a different tack and the tender moment between Liam and Chas is witnessed by his new love interest Ella Forster (Paula Lane).

When Aaron is able to open up about his fears to Chas, they both know he’s made a massive step forward. Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) reminds Aaron he’ll always be there for him.

Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) is worried for her when Caleb emerges from the Woolie, incandescent with rage. Will Ruby be able to make Caleb believe that she elbowed Chas by accident?
