Two beloved Home and Away characters are set to make a shock return to Summer Bay.
Matt Little, 31, who portrayed VJ Patterson from 2014 to 2017, will return for a cameo appearance.
Little will reprise his role as the son of longtime character Leah Patterson-Baker, played by Ada Nicodemou.
Ada’s character is set to wed fiancée Justin Morgan, portrayed by James Stewart, with Little returning for the joyous event.
His character was last seen on screens in 2017 when he fled to Cyprus with baby Luc, the daughter of his late wife Billie.
The 31-year-old spoke to PerthNow about the ’emotional’ experience he had returning to the show: ‘It was amazing (reuniting with) long time friends and it was really quite emotional to get to work with people that I haven’t worked with in a long time and I was close to’.
‘I just think it’s pretty lucky that was my job and I got to go to the most beautiful spots in the world,’ he added.
‘Every time I’m up in the Northern beaches or something like that, I think about it,’ he said of reliving Palm Beach sunrises.
Penny McNamee, 41, will also be returning to the Bay for a cameo as beloved character Tori Morgan, Justin’s sister.
The last time viewers caught a glimpse of Tori, she was embarking on a new chapter in London with her newlywed husband Christian and her daughter Grace in 2021.
Home and Away shared a sneak peak of the wedding on Monday.
VJ could be seen walking a smiling Leah down the aisle towards Justin. While Tori was shown smiling at the ceremony.
Fans will have to wait until April to see the beloved characters back on screen.
