Sam Frost and her fiancé Jordie Hansen were spotted celebrating their son Ted’s 1st birthday with a surf on the Sunshine Coast on Thursday.

It was the first time the Home and Away star has been seen in public for months, after revealing she stepped away from social media for several weeks to focus ‘on the people she loves the most’ – her family.

During the outing, Sam was every inch the doting mum, cuddling her sweet little boy as they strolled on the sand.

The 34-year-old sported an oversized grey T-shirt and showed off her toned legs in a pair of tiny shorts.

She  wore her hair in a bun and accessorised the look with a pair of stylish sunglasses.

Jordie went shirtless and showed off his bulging biceps as he took his one-year-old for a surf on the Sunshine Coast.

The day looked to be a perfect blend of relaxation and fun as the family made the most of their sunny outing by the sea.

At one point, the actress took photos of her partner and toddler who sported a life jacket as they sat in the sea.

The couple welcomed their first child, son Ted, on March 7 2023.

In August the actress revealed that pregnancy was not easy for her.

‘To be honest, I have actually surprised myself,’ she told Confidential on Nova radio, discussing what parenting has been like for her since the baby arrived.

‘I found pregnancy really difficult and I thought that would be perhaps a reflection on what is going to happen coming up, but to be honest I am actually a little more relaxed than I thought.’

She added her newborn was ‘honestly fantastic’ and she was enjoying new motherhood.

‘He is honestly a dream baby, he is so happy, he is so chilled, he laughs all the time and thinks I am the greatest person in life,’ she said.

‘He loves my performances, I perform to him constantly and he thinks it is great.’

Sam and Jordie announced their engagement on 7 July 2022.
