The couple, share a son, Harry, 8, and a daughter named Ella, 6, taking to Twitter at the time he announced: ‘Delighted to announce the safe arrival of Ella Rose, our beautiful baby girl.’
Chris has previously detailed the ‘fear’ of getting older within the acting industry as he underwent a hair transplant in order to protect his career.
The actor had the treatment as he feared being given ‘older’ roles as a result of his looks, and before-and-after snaps of the star revealed his dramatic transformation.
Chris said: ‘As soon as you start losing your hair you’re immediately cast older, so it does reduce the amount of parts you can play.
‘If you are 40 and bald you probably get cast as being 45 or 50. It can affect your career.
‘There are definitely more parts for actors who have a full head of hair. You don’t know what opportunities might be lost.’
