Emmerdale fans were left rather stunned during the latest instalment of the popular ITV show as a new farmer appeared on the show with quite a lot to say to Tom and Paddy
Fans of Emmerdale couldn’t help but comment on a new farmer on the show as Tom King and Paddy Dingle tried their best to win him over.
On Wednesday night’s show, veterinary surgeons Tom and Paddy were faced with a long-time difficult client. Tending to the farmer’s sheep, Paddy let Tom know that it’s often tricky working with certain farmers who are convinced they know best.
But Tom was able to smooth their relationship over by offering the farmer more medication to his sheep. But fans were rather distracted by the farmer and headed over to X to share their thoughts.
One social media user said: “That farmer took me back to when the show had a lot of farming in it.” Another said: “A farmer in # emmerdale?! It’s been a few years.”
Another viewer penned: “Can we have this farmer in full time? Loving him dissing Tomt and Paddy And he wears that flat cap properly.”
A third shared: “Farmer lecturing paddy is like something like ‘all creatures great and small’.” While a fourth added: “I like that farmer.”
Later on in the show, Tom managed to work his charm with the Yorkshire farmer. Telling him he could double the dose of medication, Tom left his client impressed, so much so that he managed to win new business for his team.
Celebrating his win with his teammates Paddy and Vanessa, viewerS saw a much more lighter side to Tom. But unfortunately, it was short lived.
Although Tom was out drinking to his success, he was supposed to be at home with his wife Belle and uncle Jimmy. When he returned home, Belle rightfully questioned Tom on his whereabouts.
