Coronation Street has confirmed that the romantic history between Gary Windass and Sarah Barlow will be revisited.
Gary is left stunned when Sarah makes a pass at him following a heart-to-heart later this week.
Friday’s visit to the cobbles (April 12) will see Gary invite Sarah into his flat when they’re both facing a tough time.
Gary confides in Sarah about his wife Maria seeming overprotective towards her son Liam – and how it’s started to badly affect their marriage.

Meanwhile, Sarah also shares her heartbreak over being dumped by her partner Damon Hay, who has been sentenced to six years behind bars following his involvement in an armed robbery.
In follow-on scenes next week, Gary is mortified over his ex’s drunken attempt to kiss him – especially as he knows the moment has been captured on camera.
Maria recently installed a secret spycam in her living room so that she could keep an eye on Liam while she’s at work.
Gary eyes Maria’s phone and wishes that he could delete the camera footage, but he struggles to find the right moment.

Later, Sarah approaches Gary on the street and apologises to him for her ill-judged behaviour when she was drunk.
A worried Gary explains that Sarah’s mistake could have big consequences, as Maria has a hidden camera in the flat.
Gary focuses on his work for the day as he shows a valuer around the factory following his decision to sell the building.
Sarah approaches Gary again, worried about the camera footage. Gary promises that he’ll delete it, but will he manage to get to it in time?
