When he suddenly receives a call summoning him to the police station for further questioning, Bobby pales. Meanwhile, in prison, Roy refuses his breakfast and declines to leave his cell as his worries intensify.
Over at the station, DS Swain gives shaken Bobby a grilling and reminds him that perverting the course of justice is a serious offence and could carry a custodial sentence.
When Bobby returns home, he admits to his aunt Carla Barlow that, while under pressure, he made out to DS Swain that the intruder at Lauren’s flat was wearing a balaclava and a dark coat with a fur-trimmed hood.

Cassie then tells Evelyn and Nina that, not long after Lauren disappeared, she saw a coat in the charity shop fitting Bobby’s description of what the intruder was wearing. Evelyn and Cassie head to the charity shop to check it out, and when they return, they tell Nina that the coat has gone, but there were some other clothes that came in with it – including a jumper with a name tag.
Later on, DS Swain calls at the builder’s yard flat and informs Daniel that she’d like him to come to the station with her, as there has been a new development in Lauren’s case. Has Bobby inadvertently implicated Daniel?
