Melissa George has shared a first look at her newborn son after giving birth to her third child at age 47.
The Home and Away actress posted to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to give fans a glimpse at the tot.
In the image, the little one lay in an ornate cot at Callemant d’Autane, a boutique home in Provence, southeastern France.
She also tagged Italian interior designer Gabriella Crespi, indicating that the tot is getting a very luxurious start in life.
In the photo, the little boy lay nestled among white lace sheets in the vintage style wooden cot.
A second photo showed some of the décor in the room including an antique style wicker pram.
Melissa shared the news of her birth on March 20 by posting a black and white photo of her son’s feet.
‘Welcome to the world my little man,’ began the 30 Days of Night actress’ caption.
‘Love knows no end. A mother of 3 sons. Cannot believe it. My heart is so full.’
The baby’s name is not yet known. Nor is the identity of the father.
In a subsequent Instagram Story, France-based George wrote, ‘My everything. You are here. I love you so much.’
The Perth-born star shocked her social media followers in January when she confirmed she was pregnant with her third child.
She held a fun blue-themed baby shower in March and at that time revealed she was expecting a baby boy.
Melissa shares her sons, Raphaël, nine, and Solal, seven, with her ex-partner Jean-David Blanc, a French entrepreneur.
