Adam Thomas appeared bleary-eyed as he departed the Strictly Come Dancing studios after the series finale on Saturday night.
The Emmerdale actor, 35, looked to be having a fantastic time following the event, which saw Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola crowned champions, as he bid farewell to his dance partner Luba Mushtuk with a sweet kiss on the cheek.
The festivities appeared to have been raging at Elstree Studios after the live show, which saw the near entirety of the Class of 2023 reunite to watch the finalists.
Dressed in his sequin shirt from the show, Adam made his way out of the event at around 11pm where he was collected by pals after saying goodbye to Luba.
Adam, who has been married to wife Caroline since 2017, left the competition in week seven after losing in a dance off to the show’s oldest ever contestant Angela Rippon and her professional partner Kai Widdrington.
Adam looked to be having a wonderful time after the live show as he stepped out with his pro partner following their stint on the show.
The cast of this year’s series were living it up to celebrate Ellie’s win – with fellow cast member Zara McDermott even revealing she was suffering with her ‘annual hangover’ after the night of fun with her co-stars.
Last month, Adam has admitted he’s been plagued with self-doubt while overcoming his debilitating illness to perform on the show.
Talking to The Sun, the Waterloo Road actor expressed how the workload has been incredibly challenging, as it leaves him with very little time for his family.
Adam, who was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis earlier this year, confessed that there have been some health setback due to his joints condition, as well as a recent flu outbreak that forced him to miss training.
He said: ‘There’s been a few emotional days because it is so strenuous due to the workload. Some days are tougher than others, but it’s all worth it.’
Despite the hardships, the Waterloo Road actor said that he recognises being on the show is only temporary, so aims to make the most of it.
Adam went on to describe his wife as ‘unbelievable’.
