TV viewers will know actor Jurell Carter for his portrayal of Nate Robinson on ITV soap Emmerdale.
Having arrived in the village in 2019, his character Nate has been at the centre of some intense plots of the soap, including a steamy affair with Moira Dingle, played by Natalie J Robb. As well as this, Nate has had the heart-breaking loss of a child to deal with, as well as his current desire to get revenge on baddie Caleb Milligan.
However, away from the soap, actor Jurell, 32, has already had an illustrious career in acting, having appeared in a slew of other TV shows. He has been spotted by eagle-eyed viewers on shows including Doctors and miniseries Kiri during the course of his acting career.
But this is not the only thing that Carter has become known for as a secret extra job was discovered. Not only is Jurell a star for his acting skills, his voice acting chops are also being put to the test after he revealed he was behind an ad campaign by the Royal Marines.

In the advert, a number of soldiers are seen running through various terrains whilst unsure of letting their fear take over them. As they push forward, Jurell voices over them: “If you think you are beaten, you are. If you think you dare not, you don’t.”
The advertisement has received public airplay across channels in the UK, propelling Jurell to an even wider audience. He was thrilled with the outcome of the recording, uploading the video to his Instagram story and penning: “Was a real pleasure voicing the new Royal Marines advert…” followed by a high-five and heart emoji.
