Coronation Street legend Simon Gregson said he “had a ball” after landing a new job on the BBC.
The Steve McDonald actor, 49, is a household name thanks to having appeared in the long-running ITV programme for more than thirty years. He also recently came second in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me out of Here!
On Wednesday, April 10, Simon posted a photo of himself in a BBC studio. In the snap, he had posed for the camera alongside Emmerdale star Chris Bisson, former Corrie co-star Lucy-Jo Hudson, and former EastEnders actress Danielle Harold.
Simon said: “Had a ball playing out with old chums and catching up with the legend @rosskemptv Bridge of Lies airs on BBC One and iPlayer at 5:40pm on Saturday.”
Simon will take part in a celebrity version of the BBC quiz show, hosted by Ross Kemp. Using knowledge, strategy and a little luck, contestants must cross the bridge, spotting the lies.
