But it looks like the door isn’t completely closed for Chloe’s return. In a conversation with Digital Spy, Lawrence dropped some hints about what’s next for Mackenzie- and his former’s comeback. The soap star expressed his sadness over Jessie’s exit from Emmerdale. He admitted feeling ‘gutted’ as they had a great bond on set.

However, the star is happy to see his co-star happy in her new projects. He revealed, “There’s always scope, and I think they left it deliberately open for Chloe and Reuben to return potentially.” Meanwhile, the Emmerdale soap actor gave us a sneak peek into Mackenzie’s future, revealing that things might slow down a bit for him and Charity.

After being ‘full-on’ last year, Lawrence is looking forward to a well-deserved break. But with Chloe’s possible return, there’s no doubt that exciting times lie ahead for both of them.
