A Coronation Street star has paid tribute to his co-star as she departs the Cobbles after two years.
Last night, fans watched on as Eliza – the granddaughter of Stu – left Weatherfield for good as she moved to Germany to be with her father Dom. Stu also temporarily left the Cobbles to take his granddaughter to be with her dad.
Alya and Yasmeen were there to say goodbye to Stu and Eliza, whilst her school friends Hope and Sam also showed up to bid her a fond farewell as she promised she would keep in touch with them and would message them regularly.
Today, after the episode aired, Jude Riordan took to social media to pay tribute to his co-star. He wrote: “We miss you lots Savannah @savannah_and_paris had the best times #corrie #corriekids #3amigos.” Hope actress Bella Flanagan also took to Instagram to pay tribute to her best friend. In a sweet message shared online, she wrote: “now @savannah_and_paris has officially left the cobbles, one of my bestest friends I’ve made in all my time on corrie and so so sad to see you go, love you always Sav x.”
Savannah replied to the post, calling Bella and Jude her “besties”. She penned: “HAHAHA I laughed so hard at that vid, seriously though I’m really gonna miss you all my besties,” with Bella replying: “I know it’s my favourite thing ever!!! will miss you forever x.”
The trio are always hanging out together on set. In another snap recently, Jude uploaded a picture of them all with their thumbs up on the Cobbles. Alongside it, he wrote: “It’s always a good day with these two #coronationstreet #corriekids #onthecobbles.”
