Claire Sweeney and Ricky Hatton are no longer hiding their love from the public with the boxer sharing another enamoured selfie alongside his partner.

Ricky, 45, attended the pre-opening of the new Co-Op Live Arena in Manchester on Saturday, April 20, 2024, with the Coronation Street actress on his arm as they finally made their red carpet debut. The couple were able to watch Rick Astley perform on stage ahead of the venue’s official opening with comedian Peter Kay.

A besotted Ricky then turned to his Instagram account, with Claire smiling by his side, and shared his latest loved-up post with his followers. “Great night with claire @claire.sweeney tonight at the pre opening of the fantastic new @thecooplive @coopuk in Manchester”, he first captioned, adding: “@officialrickastley was awesome the legend. Brill night all round.”

The post included a selfie of the couple, along with a handful of other videos and photos of their night on the town, from Rick Astley’s exciting performance to a reunion with friends, prompting Ricky’s followers to react in the comment section, with many rooting for the new couple. “You and Claire look good together Ricky, you seem to suit each other… good to see lad”, one of them penned. “Beautiful couple”, another wrote as a third agreed: “Lovely to see u happy…looking good together.” Claire and Ricky’s close pals would all agree.
