Emmerdale fans believe a beloved resident could be killed off after nearly four decades in the Dales.
Viewers believe Eric Pollard (played by Chris Chittell) could be waving goodbye to the village after 37 years following a tense showdown with Jai Sharma (Chris Bisson) over blackmailing him into firing Victoria Sugden (Isobel Hodgins). They believe Jai could be plotting to kill the veteran after watching Jai seemingly threaten to kill him.
And Tom King (James Chase) has been tightening his grip on Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper), escalating things when he lashed out at Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson). But is Vinny onto Tom for the assault?
On Monday (April 22) a gutted Vinny found out Belle had spilled the beans to Tom about his virgin status, leaving him looking utterly devastated. The vet quizzed Vinny about the attack, fishing for answers.

“Hey, Vin did you sleep ok? ” Belle queried, while Tom chimed in: “We didn’t wake you, did we? “. Vinny clocked that Belle and Tom had been intimate.
It prompted Tom to boast: “Yeah we found a way to pass the time. One day my friend you will understand the flames of passion.”, reports the Express. “One day? ” Vinny echoed, puzzled, to which the vet said: “Oh, that was meant to be a secret.
“I made Belle tell me and I am glad she did, bud and there is no shame in it. I mean we could always stage an intervention if you like.”
“Don’t joke,” snapped Belle, before a cringing Vinny urged the pair to get out. Over at The Hop, things got seriously tense between Jai and Eric, with the cafe boss laying down a stark warning.
“Look, I am grateful for all your help with Amit but this is taking liberties,” Jai fumed at Eric, who retorted: “You are in no position to negotiate, old chap.” Jai hit back with a threat: “I don’t need to negotiate, you know what I can do when people cross me, Eric.”
