Gabby Thomas’ relentless attempts to pursue a romance with her nanny Nicky will backfire in next week’s Emmerdale, when he dramatically quits.
The mother’s head was turned by the hunky new arrival after hiring him to care for her son Thomas, but he refused her advance under the guise that she is his boss.
In upcoming scenes, Gabby attempts to ignite a spark with Nicky by asking him to zip up her dress, leading to a steamy moment between them.
Aware that Nicky is only reluctant to sleep with her because of his employment, Gabby suggests she temporarily fire him so that they can have some fun… only for her plan to immediately backfire.
Will Gabby convince Nicky to come back?
In the coming episodes, Gabby (Rosie Bentham) becomes frustrated when her advances towards Nicky (Lewis Cope) keep getting brushed off.
She finally ignites a spark with Nicky when she asks him to zip up her dress, sparking a brief moment between them.
Knowing his eyes are all over her, Gabby is pleased to finally be getting somewhere.
Realising her position as his boss is making him reluctant to start something with her, Nicky’s unimpressed when Gabby temporarily fires him so they can have their fun.
The mother is then left floundering when Nicky sensationally quits his job instead, leaving her without someone to look after Thomas.
Will Nicky be convinced to come back?
In previous episodes, Nicky confessed that he does have feelings for Gabby, but they can’t be together as it could put his job in jeopardy.
Nicky admitted that despite their chemistry he cannot have sex with the young mother, with actor Lewis adding there could be ‘problems’ if the pair got together.
