Dean Andrews Talks About His Permanent Exit From Emmerdale

Emmerdale star Dean Andrews has been playing Will Taylor on the show for ages. Currently, he is in the middle of a major storyline with his daughter Dawn and his ex-partner Rose. Recently, Dean gave insights into his time on the soap and what’s next for him. While he loves being part of the show, he hinted that he might retire soon.

The soap star expressed feeling like part of a close-knit family and being content with his role on Emmerdale. He stated, “When the producers originally asked me if I’d like to come in, they said how long would you like to say and I said if I come in now, you’ll have to kick me out.

However, he acknowledged that being in his 60s, he might consider retiring after this role. Additionally, the seasoned actor confesses that he is very ‘settled’ on the soap. He even joked that he sees his Emmerdale on-screen wife (Claire King) more than his real one.

The soap cast said, “The other stuff we do (as actors), we’re there for three, four, five months or whatever we are, and then we all disappear and go and do other stuff then we come back, but here, I remember before I came in and people were saying it’s like a family but it really is.”

A New Character On Dales- ‘She Is A Free-Spirit’

Back in Dales, Will’s ex-partner, Rose, enters the village. The showmaker, Laura Shaw, welcomed the actress Christine Tremarco to the Emmerdale family with delight. She appreciated the actress and labeled the character as a ‘free spirit.’ Also, she promised that Rose would bring a ‘real storm’ for some of our villagers.
