The hit Paramount+ streaming series NCIS Sydney will return for a second season later this year.
Filming is already underway on the new series as Channel 10 is getting set to debut season one of the show free-to-air on May 15.
Fans can look forward to seeing former Home and Away hunk Todd Lasance re-joining the cast alongside season one co-star Olivia Swann.
Produced by Paramount+ and Channel 10, the series is centred on detectives from the Australian Federal Police teaming with U.S. NCIS investigators.
As the combined force battle crime in the navy, they also must deal with rising tensions in the highly contested Pacific region.
The storyline for season 2 will focus on a new ‘adversary’ in the region, which also threatens the team.
Lasance, 39, took to his Instagram to announce the shows return.
‘Still feels like a dream,’ he posted.
‘Thank you to every single one of you who tuned in and supported us!! Cannot wait to step back on set with our squad!’
Meanwhile, Todd’s U.K. born co-star Olivia Swann, 32, teased on her social media that other season one cast members will also be back for season 2.
‘Season 2 baby. We’re getting the fam back together! So happy. So excited. So grateful,’ she posted on her Instagram.
NCIS Sydney season one cast member Sean Sagar also took to his Instagram to announce his return for season 2.
