Dannii Minogue met her now ex-husband Julian McMahon on the set of Australian TV drama Home and Away.

And the star spoke candidly on Saturday about falling in love with her former spouse on the iconic soap almost three decades ago.

In a teaser trailer for the upcoming TV special, Endless Summer: 30 Years of Home and Away, 46-year-old Dannii says: ‘I did find romance on the set. He stopped me in my tracks.’

Dannii starred as tomboy punk Emma Jackson from September 1989 until August 1990 on Home and Away.

Dannii is one of many former Home and Away stars who will speak about the show in the new TV special, which was filmed to celebrate the series’ 30th anniversary.

Kate Ritchie, 39, also appears in the teaser trailer, talking about filming scenes alongside the late Heath Ledger back in 1997.

Heath was just 18 years old when he played Summer Bay’s bad boy Scott Irwin, who quickly became attracted to Kate’s character, Sally Fletcher.

Archival footage from the show can be seen in the new teaser trailer, with a youthful looking Heath looking every inch the rebellious teen, sporting frosted tips and a pierced ear.

Home and Away was one of Heath’s earliest roles, coming a year before he filmed the now iconic rom-com, 10 Things I Hate About You.

The Oscar-winner tragically passed away in 2008 after suffering accidental intoxication from prescription drugs.
