Kate Ritchie won her first Gold Logie in 2007.
And the 45-year-old former Home and Away star has now revealed she treated herself to a special gift to celebrate – a piece of furniture.
‘It was like a buffet,’ she told her co-hosts during the Fitzy & Wippa and Kate Ritchie Show on Wednesday.
Asked whether it was ‘gold’, the fan favourite teased listeners.
‘Yes, I bought a big gold couch and a big gold onesie to watch re-runs of the Logies,’ she joked.
Elsewhere on Thursday’s show, Kate responded to wild romance rumours linking her with racing driver Daniel Ricciardo.
The fan favourite addressed speculation that she is ‘crushing’ on the 34-year-old Aussie Formula One star.
Kate was left in stitches when her co-hosts Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald and Michael ‘Wippa’ Wipfli told her she had been linked to Daniel, who often features on their Nova FM show, in a recent report.
She was baffled after learning there was speculation about the ‘chemistry’ between her and Daniel – who is dating Heidi Berger – following the Melbourne Grand Prix.
Firmly shutting down the rumours, Kate simply laughed them off and commented that Daniel’s girlfriend Heidi might not be happy to learn of the fan speculation.
Joking about the claims, Fitzy told her: ‘To be honest, I thought Daniel Ricardo seemed a little distracted on the track and I thought I knew everything.
‘We’re a pretty tight team in here and you kept this from us. Fitz, I feel like we’ve been played for a fool.’
Kate also joked about the photograph that had been used of her alongside the report as she quipped that Daniel would be ‘head over heels’ after seeing it.
