Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien was seen enjoying the sunny weather over the weekend and even posed for a rare snap alongside her young son. The actress took to Instagram where she shared a selfie of the pair having previously explained why her children tend not to feature heavily on her social media page.

Tina, who is famed for playing Sarah Barlow – nee Platt – in the ITV soap, was seen alongside Beau, who Tina shares with her husband Adam Crofts, who smiled and did a peace sign with his fingers for the camera as he nuzzled his head into his mum’s while she gave a little pout for the snap.

She shared the image to her Instagram Story with no caption but it comes after she explained last year that Beau and his older sister Scarlett, who Tina share

The mum-of-two- said at the time: “I don’t post often about my S&B. I’ll only post what they are happy to share and is comfortable for them.”

Tina’s new post comes as actress Scarlett was seen with her dad and uncles as they celebrated the birthday of Adam Thomas’ daughter, Elsie. The at-home gathering appeared to take place in the garden of Adam and his wife Caroline’s family home thanks to the return of the beaming sun.

A white bouncy castle that had ‘6’ printed on the front to show Elsie’s age was seen in the garden while the tables had been decorated with pink runners with matching flowers and balloons also used to decorate for the low-key bash.

Sharing a string of beaming snaps to Instagram, which also featured older brother Ryan, Scarlett, his fiancee Lucy Mecklenburgh and their children – Roman and Lilah – as well as the brothers’ mum Gail, Scott said: “Happy 6th Birthday Elsie Rose!” He continued: “You really are our very Thomas princess and we love you beyond words! Another beautiful day with the Family, feeling very blessed #thomasfamily #birthday #niece.”
