Home and Away‘s Stevie Marlow is set to make a rash decision after receiving an unsettling update in the Cash Newman bodyguard storyline.
Movie star Stevie feels like someone is out to kill her after the mysterious death of her co-star Crystal, and she’s hired former policeman Cash to protect her.
In scenes set to air next week, Stevie starts to settle into Cash’s place, having recently moved in. As the two go over her lines for an audition, she gets a phone call from Crystal’s ex-boyfriend, who tells her that the inquest into her death has come to an end.

That only makes Stevie more uneasy, and wanting the whole thing to come an end as soon as possible. Cash decides to help by pulling on some police connections, and finds out what happened with the inquest.
Unfortunately, it’s bad news: her death has been ruled as a misadventure. That only makes Stevie more convinced that someone killed Crystal, and now they are after her.
Overcome with despair and paranoia, and feeling like the police aren’t taking her seriously, Stevie declares that it’s all over and fires Cash as her bodyguard. As she heads out of the door with all her belongings in tow, can Cash convince her to change her mind?
Speaking about the dark storyline, Cash actor Nicholas Cartwright previously explained that his character will do everything he can to protect Stevie from the unknown stalker/possible killer.
“Cash knows that the danger facing Stevie is real and it’s escalating,” he said. “Cash doesn’t know what the stalker is capable of.”
Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5, with repeat screenings at 6pm on 5STAR and first look screenings at 6.30pm on 5STAR. Selected classic episodes are available via Prime Video in the UK.
