Olly Murs is still seemingly smarting over not being invited to the wedding of Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan as he takes a swipe with a cheeky comment on their ninth anniversary
Olly Murs took a swipe at Mark Wright as the reality star took to social media to pay a gushing tribute to his wife Michelle Keegan.
Mark celebrated his ninth wedding anniversary by posting an adoring message to his wife Michelle, but not all of his celebrity pals were on the same page when it came to celebrating their big day.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star tied the knot with Michelle, who made her name on Coronation Street before starring in a string of hit TV shows, on May 24, 2015 at St Mary’s Church in Bury St Edmonds, and Mark, 37, shared a number of photos from that special day along with some other never-seen-before snaps from their lives together. He captioned the post: “Best 9 years of my life. Happy anniversary babe @michkeegan “. The post on Instagram received nearly 88,000 likes in its first 12 hours of being posted and many of the couple’s celebrity friends shared their love. Michelle’s former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley was among the first to comment, writing: “Happy Anniversary loves”. TOWIE star Leah Wright also added: “Happy anniversary to you both @michkeegan “. While there was much joy being shared among those commenting, there was one sarky voice among them, though it was delivered with their tongue firmly in their cheek. Singer Olly Murs is still smarting over being snubbed by the happy couple for their wedding day and he is still not going to let it lie, as he commented on the post: “Still annoyed I never got the invite.” Olly added a crying emoji and also a laughing one, as he showed that there was a touch of cheeky fun to his reply, though neither Mark or Michelle have liked the comment.

Since then, Mark and Michelle have been having their mega mansion built in Essex but he has told listeners to his radio show that his thoughts are very much secondary to the wishes of his wife when it comes to decoration. The property, believed to be worth £3.5 million, has a large chandelier in the entrance hall, which drops from the third floor. The “centrepiece” divided fans on social media and he took Michelle to task on the radio over it.
He explained Michelle’s design “just did not work”, saying on his radio show: “I want to talk about something I did on Instagram this week… Now I don’t know about you, but in my household, my partner makes the final decision and has the final say on everything…
“Even when saying ‘Mark what do you think? What you think of this colour?’ I’m like ‘yeah, we should go for that one’…’well actually no, we’re going for that one’… May as well just be quiet. But when it came to picking a chandelier in our house like the light in the middle of our hallway that drops from the third floor ceiling, she designed it and drew it and I was like ‘what is that..’.”
He added: “It’s just loads of like light bulbs just dropping from the ceiling and when she drew it and designed it with the amazing company I looked at it… I was like ‘this just doesn’t work’ and I really didn’t like it but I had no say as I said but we went for it we hung it and it looks amazing.
