Coronation Street viewers are convinced the person behind Abi Franklin’s deepfake porn ordeal will be exposed by accident thanks to a possible clue in one of the videos

Coronation Street fans think the person behind Abi Franklin’s faked sex tapes will face their downfall very soon.

Abi was horrified this week as it appeared a sex tape from her past that she had no recollection of had been shared online. But she soon realised she’d been set up, and the person she thought was behind it was not to blame.

Not only that but there were multiple videos, and it quickly emerged that they were deepfake videos, manipulated so that Abi’s face was placed over the person in the footage. Realising someone was targeting her, Abi set out to find out who was doing it and why.

But viewers believe the culprit could give away their identity soon enough thanks to a tattoo hint. There appeared to be a dragon tattoo on the leg of the woman in at least one of the videos.

While it’s unlikely the real culprit would have used a video of themselves, some fans can’t help but speculate that the person has done just this. Knowing soap land and the twists that often unfold, some viewers are convinced that the tattoo is the key to finding the culprit, believing they have edited footage of themselves with Abi’s face.

Again, it’s unlikely that someone would do this rather than find another video but fans are convinced Corrie being Corrie, we will end up spotting a dragon tattoo on a character’s leg, and that this will give away who is behind the videos. Taking to social media, one fan posted: “So find the leg with the dragon tattoo and that’s the one whose doing these fake videos. Has Cassie got one?”

Another viewer explained: “Nobody saw it. Abi said ‘It’s not me, whoever it is has a tattoo of a dragon on their leg’.” A third viewer commented: “Wonder if Cassie got a dragon tattoo on her leg.”

The theory continued, after Abi herself suggested the culprit may be the woman with the tattoo. A fan said: “When is Cassie going to reveal a dragon tattoo?” as another wrote: “I wonder if Cassie has a dragon tattoo, could it be her leg.”
