Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon had a light-hearted response when she was suspected of being pregnant as she posed for a gorgeous snap with her friend. The actress recently enjoyed a break away from the UK as she swapped Weatherfield for Dubai with her boyfriend Ryan Ledson and their son as well as some of their friends.
Lucy, who is famed for playing Bethany Platt in the ITV soap, headed away earlier this month with footballer Ryan and one-year-old Sonny and had been sharing updates to social media from her trip.
But after returning home, Lucy shared what else she has been up to as she posted a sweet snap of herself and a friend as they attended a gorgeous wedding, which seemingly took place Powerscourt House & Gardens in Ireland.
The soap star, 28, looked sensational as she sported a draped multicoloured halterneck dress which she paired with a pastel handbag, a statement silver ‘S’ necklace, in tribute to her little boy, and matched her colourful dress with some funky earrings.
She was seen beaming for the camera alongside her friend Deyanah Ysatis who looked equally as glamourous in a silky green dress and simply captioned her post in view of her 570,000 followers: “my girl @ysatis__.”
And it didn’t take long for the compliments to come flooding in. @sarahwatt13 said: “Stunning! Where is your dress from!? It’s gorgeous xx.” @ophelia_butts_uk commented: “Absolutely stunning.” @alanmercury007 wrote: “Gawgus lady’s.” @pam_gilby replied: “You look incredible.” @xtina.vy added: “Sunning ladies and those dresses are gorgeous.”
However, some were confused by the poses in the snap as Deyanah placed her hand on Lucy’s stomach. With many quick to suggest she may be expecting, the mum-of-one responded: “No baby just a cup of the love.”
It comes weeks after Lucy was seen bravely opening up about suffering a miscarriage before falling pregnant with Sonny. Lucy and Ryan went public with their relationship in June 2021. Their romance blossomed in lockdown after they had got talking on the celebrity dating app, Raya. They then announced in September 2022 that Lucy, from Blackpool, was pregnant with her and Ryan’s first child and was already five months pregnant. But their happy news came after Lucy suffered a tragic miscarriage back in March 2022.
A teary-eyed Lucy recounted her first pregnancy in front of the cameras on ITVBe’s Drama Queens and said: “In the first year that me and Ryan were together I fell pregnant for the first time.” She said that they were “really excited,” before adding: “And we booked a scan and we … I feel like I’m gonna get upset.”
She took a moment to compose herself before she continued: “We went for the first scan and I didn’t expect that anything would be wrong and [the nurse] told us that there was no heartbeat. That the baby had died.”
Lucy was then later seen in tears whilst celebrating Sonny’s first birthday and was heard saying that because of the “harder times” that they had before the pregnancy with Sonny, which was “filled with so much anxiety,” she now looks at her family and it feels “even more special”.
