Coronation Street star Samia Longchambon quickly had her fans in agreement as she told how she can find herself questioning whether she’s ‘doing enough’ when scrolling through social media.

The actress brought the interesting chat to Instagram in a post which she did admit she ‘might delete later’. Samia, who is famed for playing Maria Windass in the ITV soap, shared a relaxing selfie on her page as she seemingly made the most of the warm, dry weather in the garden of her home.

Alongside the photo, Samia wrote: “Just a thought.. (might delete later). I love Instagram but one thing i need to work on is scrolling and then feeling like I’m not doing enough in life.. whether it be having enough fun, doing enough as a parent, being more ambitious, travelling more.. or even being better at tidying my home!”

The mum-of-two continued: “Insta is great for showing off our ‘highlights’ but sometimes we need to remind ourselves (myself included) that what we see on here is the tiniest slice of what is going on in someone’s life.. We’re all pretty much winging it in life so let’s just do our best, wish each other well and be at peace with wherever we are at. Do you know what I mean?

And her followers were quick to respond. @suemorrissey_ said: “I know exactly what you mean and please don’t delete this post, you’ve got a lot of good stuff in there.” @cat_cheesman commented: “Aww. Samia, please don’t delete!”

It comes after Samia was recently seen beaming alongside her husband and their son as they enjoyed what looked to be a stunning weekend in France. The soap star shares on Yves with her Dancing On Ice star husband Sylvian Longchambon and is also a doting mum to Freya Smith, her daughter from a previous relationship.

And taking to Instagram earlier this month, Samia shared a number of snaps of herself, Sylvain and Yves as they attended a wedding in Pézenas in the South of France. The trio could be seen posing in the large green grounds of what appeared to be a castle-like property.

The 41-year-old looked gorgeous as she sported a floral dress which she paired with white heels and was seen beaming for the camera as her light locks flowed down past her shoulders having been styled into curls. Ice skater Sylvain, meanwhile, looked suave as he donned a smart shirt, which he left unbuttoned down to his stomach, under a grey blazer and matching trousers.

And Yves looked adorable as he smiled alongside his parents, almost matching his dad in a shirt and trousers. “Had the most gorgeous weekend in the South of France for a family wedding,” Samia shared alongside the beautiful snaps. “Félicitations Thierry and Hina.. the French always know how to celebrate!!” she also commented.
