Emmerdale has confirmed Cain and Moira Dingle’s fate following their huge rift in recent weeks.
The popular couple have faced some major challenges lately, ever since Moira’s son Matty Barton was arrested for stabbing Samson Dingle.
In a shocking incident at The Hide earlier this month, Samson’s friend Josh was threatening Matty and making transphobic remarks. As Matty defended himself, Josh pushed Samson into Matty, and he was accidentally stabbed by the knife that Matty was holding.

Josh then accused Matty of coming at him and Samson with the knife, an accusation which has left Matty in prison.
Moira was worried about her son and wanted to clear Matty’s name, so she attempted to get Samson to tell the truth by cornering him in the pub toilets.
When he tried to escape, Moira took a violent approach and shoved Samson against the wall, jabbing at his stab wound.

When Cain warned Moira that her intimidation could jeopardise Matty’s case, Moira snapped and called her husband “weak”.
Later, the situation got even worse, when Cain came home drunk and nearly hit his wife after a very tense confrontation. Cain and Moira’s relationship was left in doubt, and viewers wondered if their marriage could survive this major obstacle.
But Emmerdale has confirmed that the couple will in fact reconcile, in scenes that will air next week.

After Cain and Moira both said some hurtful things to one another, it won’t be easy to get their marriage back on track. But, in a conversation, the pair will promise to work as a team moving forward.
On their big showdown, Natalie J Robb, who plays Moira, previously said: “It’s a very powerful scene. Jeff Hordley plays a very good drunk!
“It ends with them coming face-to-face and Cain nearly hits her. It’s a bit of a face-off between them both. It’s a very uncomfortable moment. People who’ve seen the scene said they felt very uncomfortable.”
