Toya’s condition has led to tension in her relationships. After Nick defended Toyah, who had been involved in an affair, Leanne decided to cut back on discussing the situation. Toyah, feeling isolated, saw Leanne discussing the matter with an AI version of Oliver and chose to tackle the ordeal alone. Leanne, manipulated by Rowan’s advice to ignore negativity, began to emotionally detach from her sister.

In a dramatic twist, Leanne’s decision to distance herself from Toyah escalates. Nick, struggling with his own feelings and the affair’s fallout, gets into a confrontation with someone photographing him and Leanne. In a heated moment, Nick punches the photographer, leading to a potential police intervention, though Rowan intervenes to avoid charges.
