Bobby Brazier ‘moves on from Strictly’s Ellie Leach as he’s ‘spotted on date with EastEnders co-star’

EastEnders star Bobby Brazier has seemingly moved on from his short relationship with his fellow Strictly Come Dancing competitor, Ellie Leach, after being seen with his soap co-star Jazzy Phoenix.

The 20-year-old actor, who plays Freddie Slater on the BBC soap, had been enjoying a relationship with Coronation Street star Ellie, who won Strictly with her pro partner Vito Coppola, but it now seems that his attentions have turned to 23-year-old Jazzy, who plays sex worker Nadine on Albert Square, after his split from Ellie.

Bobby reportedly enjoyed a dinner date with Jazzy in London’s Mayfair at a popular haunt of Premier League footballers, posh restaurant Bagatelle. The date comes after Bobby had been flirting with Jazzy online, with a recent photo on Instagram prompting Bobby, who is the son of the late reality star Jane Goody, to leave love heart emojis in the comments. Bobby also added a comment: “Stop it. Too much for me.”

A source has told The Sun that Bobby is “enjoying getting to know Jazzy,” and thinks that his co-star “is very beautiful.” Jazzy is due to reprise her role in Albert Square and is said to be “flattered by his interest”. The source added that Bobby has been “a perfect gentleman and treats her very well” and that he has “no hard feelings with Ellie” after their romance came to an end.

Bobby and Ellie grew close while they performed on Strictly at the end of last year and while they toured together with the show after the series finished, Bobby spoke glowingly about his fellow soap star. He said: “Ellie is a sweetheart, look at her . . . she’s beautiful, amazing, she’s good at what she does. She’s a good dancer.”

Ellie has now been urged by fans to date her dance partner on Strictly, after she and Vito showed they had an incredible connection en route to winning the Glitterball Trophy. Ellie had called him a “perfect diamond” during their run to winning the show and viewers were convinced that they “almost kissed” at the climax of one of their performances. After the final, Ellie said that the Italian dancer had “changed my life”.

The former Coronation Street star is currently on tour with the stage production of Cluedo, which Bobby continues to make strides in EastEnders, with him hoping it will lead to an opportunity to crack Hollywood in years to come.
