Celebs Go Dating’s Helen Flanagan reunites with Scott Sinclair for major family event

Helen Flanagan has reunited with ex-Scott Sinclair to celebrate their daughter’s birthday.

The 33-year-old former Coronation Street star shares three children with footballer Scott, 35, and they put aside their differences to ensure that six-year-old Delilah’s day went with a bang. The party had a multi-themed feel as Spiderman and football were the prominent requests by the youngster to make her day perfect.

Helen shared snaps from the day on her social media pages showing that Scott had joined them for the big day which involved huge graphics of Spiderman which were merged with images of Delilah. The display also included huge footballs and silver balloons. As befitting for a six-year-old birthday party, there was a bouncy castle with a ball pit and to show that the stresses and strain of the day had not affected mum Helen, she shared a selfie of herself giving a peace sign

Writing on her Instagram Stories, Helen told her followers: “My baby Delilah’s party yesterday. Amazing day for my beautiful baby Delilah so proud to be Delilah’s mama she’s just the best. Even though Delilah is six I will still carry her like this [in her arms] until she is too heavy.” Scott also shared pictures from the day on his own Instagram account, with him cuddling his youngest daughter in one of the photos. After initially showing that all was okay, Helen was more reflective later this weekend and told alongside a tearful photo: “This week was a lot. Was too drained to go out.”

Helen and Scott reuniting comes just days after she had admitted that they had a “difficult relationship” over their 13 years together, before splitting in October 2022. Speaking about co-parenting, Helen said: “I felt really emotional that day, a lot of personal things going on and it can be extremely emotionally draining co parenting when you have a difficult relationship.”

The former Coronation Street actress continued: “I had therapy at the beginning of the year and I felt like I was able to come back to my natural self and not suppress my emotions and I let myself cry now. I felt a little bit lost before I had Matilda, when I had my baby girl it gave me a feeling of purpose and inspiration. Whenever I’m stuck in a situation and don’t know what to do, I think what would I want my daughter to do and I do that.”
