The TLC star’s mom admitted that she wasn’t a fan of her daughter’s relocation plans.

She also asked Ingi if he had found out about any schools in the country offering a midwifery program. Corona said, “Not Yes, but it’s high on the list.” Surprisingly, her mom warned Ingi that she would kidnap her daughter and bring her back to the States if she didn’t get serious about her education.

90 Day Fiance star Corona has been struggling to adjust in a country full of white people. She has already been nervous about her life as a black person in Iceland. Hence, Ingi decided to take her to a group of other black people who had been living in the country for years. He felt that it would help his lady love adjust better in the country and gain some confidence.

Corona went to meet a group of people she met on social media. They warned her that she had to face challenges in the country because of her language. They also told her there would be times when she had to prove herself to make a career in the medical field. As per Access Hollywood, Corona went to find out about the Midwifery program at a school.

However, the counselor told her that she needed a Bachelor of Nursing and a Nursing License to apply for the program. Moreover, the TLC star got upset when she found out that she had to learn to speak or read Icelandic for the course because all the courses were taught in the same language. Corona was heartbroken after the revelation because she heard that the lecture would be in English.

She expressed, “I feel like I just got my heart ripped out of my chest.” She admitted trying hard not to burst into tears after the conversation. Further, the reality TV star came to know that it could take her years to learn the language.
