Coronation Street spoilers follow.
Coronation Street will air in a special schedule later this month as the Britain’s Got Talent live shows return.
The ITV soap will continue its long-running tradition of airing alongside the BGT semi-final episodes.
Newly-released schedules have confirmed that the annual Britain’s Got Talent week will take place between Monday, May 27 and Friday, May 31.
Corrie will air 30-minute episodes across five nights in a 7.30pm slot throughout the week, with Britain’s Got Talent following in a two-hour slot at 8pm.
As always, fans can expect a big week of Corrie episodes to mark the occasion as ongoing storylines come to a head.
Full pictures and spoiler guides for the week in question will be released next week as usual.
In the meantime, you can check out our picture preview of next week’s episodes, which feature a devastating new story for Abi Webster, the worrying return of Griff Reynolds, more trouble for Roy Cropper in prison and Bernie Winter discovering the true identity of newcomer Kit Green.
Last year, Justin Rutherford’s trial for Ryan Connor’s acid attack took place during BGT week. In 2022, the big week centred around Imran Habeeb’s dramatic exit from the show.
Corrie and BGT‘s special schedule will have a knock-on effect for Emmerdale too.
From Monday, May 27 to Friday, May 31, Emmerdale will temporarily move back to its old 7pm timeslot.
The show will air for 30 minutes each night across the week, meaning that there’s no extended hour-long edition on Thursday, May 30.
Coronation Street airs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 and streams on ITVX.
