Coronation Street‘s Adam Barlow looks set to move on from his failed marriage to Sarah next week.
Adam shares a passionate kiss with Alya Nazir after several days of chemistry between them.
Recent episodes revealed that Adam is smitten with Alya, despite their rows over Alya’s decision to move on from Barlow Legal Services and steal the firm’s clients.
Next week, Alya finds Adam struggling without her when she pops into the solicitor’s office for a client file.
Adam is feeling overwhelmed by the admin work, which used to be overseen by Alya.
Adam suggests that it’s time to pull out of the joint work they’re currently doing with Fabian’s, the company that Alya now works for. Dee-Dee Bailey accuses Adam of being petty and orders him to get on with the filing.
Later in the week, Alya and her new boss Rich arrive for a meeting with Adam. Alya excitedly reveals that she’s going to work in Dublin for a while, leaving Adam surprised.
Adam hands over a summary of the case, clearly desperate to impress Alya by proving that he’s now on top of things.
A few days later, Adam and Alya continue to work together on the joint case. They enjoy each other’s company and share coy smiles, before quickly looking away.
Adam finally confesses his feelings for Alya and they share a kiss, just as Rich walks in and finds them in a passionate clinch.
With Alya’s Dublin plans now in the mix, does she have a future with Adam or is it the wrong time for romance?
