Adam orders a bottle of wine and flirts with Rebecca. There’s an obvious chemistry between them, so when Alya calls to warn that he’s needed at the office for a meeting, Adam ignores her and hangs up.
Alya ends up leading the meeting with Rich, who’s from the Fabian’s firm. Rich praises her knowledge and suggests that she has the potential to become a partner in the future.
Alya says her goodbyes to Rich following the successful meeting, but Adam’s unprofessional behaviour continues, as the door suddenly bursts open to show him and Rebecca mid-snog.

Later in the week, Alya accepts the job offer from Rich and they celebrate the news over lunch in the Bistro.
Adam is alarmed when his biggest client then gets in touch to reveal that they’re transferring their work to Fabian’s. He’s livid that Alya is already poaching the firm’s business.
Michael Bailey inadvertently inflames the tensions when he informs Alya that Adam is telling people she has accepted her job back.
Alya knows this isn’t true, so she storms over to confront Adam, telling him to stick his job.
However, as Alya storms off, it’s clear that Adam is smitten. What could the future hold for them both?
