CORONATION Street star Jack P. Shepherd’s son is following in his footsteps and landed a huge acting gig.
Reuben, who is just 10 years old, has been signed to a soap – but won’t be heading to the cobbles.

The youngster will be playing Curtis in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks in September.
Just like Reuben, Jack also started his career young and first starred as David Platt when he was 12.
A source told The Mirror: “Reuben is a chip off the old block.
“He’s already impressing on set and his talent is shining through.

“He’s got a bright future ahead of him,” they added.
Jack had Reuben with his ex-fiancee Lauren Shippey, who he split from in 2017.
The couple founded 13 Performing Arts School in Greater Manchester, which Reuben trains at.
They also have a daughter together called Nyla.

As well as possessing his dad’s acting talent, he’s also the spitting image of Jack when he was younger.
Reuben got his first TV break five years ago when he was cast for an advert for Yorkshire furniture firm HSL.
This comes as Jack announced his engagement to Hanni Treweek after he got down on one knee during a romantic safari holiday.
The couple posted pictures of themselves on the safari kissing with the caption: “05.06.24 I said YES to forever!!!”
The couple spent two weeks in Africa earlier this month visiting Tanzania to go on safari in the Serengeti before flying to Zanzibar for a luxury beach break.
It was while in the Serengeti that Jack proposed.
They have been together for six years having met when Hanni worked on the soap in the press office.
She later became a storyliner before quitting to become a fashion influencer.
