Coronation Street star Calum Lill has shared his surprise as he found Tina McIntyre on set during filming – but it wasn’t quite as it seemed. Fans of the ITV soap currently know Calum for playing Joel Deering in the ITV soap after he was brought in last year as Dee-Dee Bailey’s new love interest.

Before joining Corrie, Calum could be found flogging cars as he took on different jobs – including a stint at Junkyard Golf Club – in between acting gigs – which included appearances in Doctors and Holby City before a stint in 2021 on Hollyoaks in which he played PC Carlton Smith in the Channel 4 soap.

But having almost lost his place on the cobbles thanks to Joel’s lies to Dee-Dee about his ex-wife and young daughter, Joel is well and truly back on the cobbles having smoothed things over with his girlfriend, played by Channique Sterling-Brown.

In a new video posted to his Instagram page, Calum was seen filming at the Weatherfield General set when he came across a former resident who met a grisly end a number of years ago.

“Tina’s alive?” a message across the video read in which Calum could be seen in Joel’s suit as he glances down at a magazine to see Michelle Keegan on the cover.

He then captioned the brilliant clip to his followers: “Couldn’t believe what I saw at Weatherfield General the other day. Sometimes I feel like I’m in the Truman show. Or some kind of show anyway.” And fans of the long-running show were quick to see the funny side.
