Brooke Vincent has admitted she doesn’t know if she’ll ever return to Coronation Street, claiming bosses ‘never rang’ to invite her back after her maternity leave.
The soap actress, 31, last graced the cobbles in 2019 after playing Sophie Webster for 15 years and went on to welcome son Mexx the same year.
Appearing on Loose Women alongside Emmerdale actress Laura Norton on Wednesday, Brooke gave fans an insight into whether she would return to Corrie.
Asked by Coleen if she was returning, Brooke laughed and said: ‘Well it’s funny because like I say I left for maternity and they never rang so I don’t know!’
The actress went on the talk show with Laura to promote their new reality series Dram Queens – which follows nine female soap stars from across Hollyoaks, Emmerdale, and Coronation Street as they give soap fans a glimpse into their lives off camera.

Since returning to acting after having her sons Mexx, four, and Monroe, two, who she shares with her fiancé Kean Bryan, Brooke announced she would be turning her attention to the stage.
The actress is set to star in the UK tour of Kay Mellor’s The Syndicate, a play based off the 2012 TV drama, which follows five supermarket workers whose lottery syndicate numbers come in, just as their jobs and livelihoods come under threat.
Brooke said that filming for her upcoming reality show followed her through the transition from being on maternity leave to starring in the play.
Happy with her career transition, she told Coleen: ‘Like I say I’m really excited this different avenue of doing theatre and we start in in Richmond tomorrow.
‘I’m so scared but it’s that adrenaline boost of live and you’re just like “Yes”.’
MailOnline has contacted Coronation Street for comment.
Brooke previously revealed she ‘lost her identity’ during her first pregnancy.
Speaking on the the Made by Mammas podcast last year, the 30-year-old star said: ‘People just underestimate how carrying a child can make you feel and how it can knock your confidence. I just didn’t know who I was.’
