Jack Carroll has received support from his Coronation Street co-stars after a major career achievement over the weekend.
The actor and comedian, who plays Bobby Crawford on the ITV soap, became a BAFTA winner at Sunday’s (May 12) ceremony, taking home the award for Best Short Form for his comedy short Mobility.
The film follows three disabled teenagers in Huddersfield who catch the same mobility bus every day.
Following the win, Jack took to his Instagram account with a picture holding his mask trophy, writing: “Better add BAFTA winner to my CV. Absolutely honoured and astounded.”
Sharing their support in the comments, the official Coronation Street account wrote: “Congratulations Jack!!”, while many other co-stars also shared their delight.
“Incredible news man! MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU!” added Simon Barlow actor Alex Bain, while Bethany Platt star Lucy Fallon wrote: “Bafta slay.”
