hit rocky ground in forthcoming Coronation Street scenes, as there’s a twist

on their on-going feud with Stefan Brent (Paul Opacic).

The pair have been to loggerheads with Stefan, after Abi reported him to DS Swain (Vicky Myers), for creating deepfake videos of her.

They have a complicated history, as Stefan’s son Corey was the young man who killed her son Seb back in 2021.

Next week sees Stefan attempt to end their feud, phoning Kevin to request a meeting.

When he later turns up at No. 13, Kevin is out and Jack answers the door, unaware who Stefan is, and agrees to let him come in and wait.

Later, Abi finds Kevin watching an online news report of a fire at Stefan’s office building and she says he had it coming.

DS Swain soon takes both Kevin and Abi in for questioning over the fire, and Kevin is stunned.

As Abi faces some tough questions, Kevin begins to suspect his wife is behind the fire, leaving Abi devastated.

Later in the week, DS Swain interviews and charges the culprit responsible for the arson attack – will Abi go down for the crime, or is there another explanation?

Coronation Street airs these scenes from Monday 29 July at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
