Coronation Street’s Kit set to kill as victim ‘confirmed’ – and it’s not who you think

Coronation Street’s Kit Green has caused plenty of drama on the

cobbles – but it seems things are about to get a lot more sinister.

Coronation Street fans reckon Kit Green is going to end up killing a beloved cobbles resident.

The bent copper, played by Jacob Roberts, rocked up to Weatherfield as the long-lost son of Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) this year. Soap favourite Bernie gave up Christopher ‘Kit’ Green for adoption almost thirty years ago.

She eventually tracked him down a few months ago – but Kit didn’t want anything to do with her. Meanwhile, Bernie’s twins Gemma (Dolly-Rose Campbell) and Paul (Peter Ash) were left stunned to find out they had another brother.

What’s more, Kit also had a part to play in sicko Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper) getting sent to prison for the murder of Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton). As fans will recall, the troubled youngster went missing earlier this year – but is actually alive.

However, in a shock twist, Kit planted Lauren’s DNA in paedophile Nathan van and framed him. In reality, viewers learned the truth about Lauren’s disappearance: she was actually attacked by solicitor Joel Deering (Calum Lill).

Since then, Kit has become a regular on the cobbles – and appeared to forgive Bernie, for the sake of Gemma and Paul – who is dying having been diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year.

However, this week Kit showed his true colours when he shared the good news that he was buying Gemma and Chesney’s property to rent out to them.

Shortly after though, his dark side shone through as he made his feelings perfectly clear towards Bernie, speaking to her quietly about his dislike for her.

Now, fans reckon that Kit could be the next killer on the cobbles. What’s more, viewers have also shared their theory that he could murder Paul as “revenge.”

On X, one person wrote: “I still don’t trust Kit. I wouldn’t be surprised if he kills Paul in some surprise dark twist as part of some sick revenge.”

A second penned: “There’s a spoiler picture somewhere of him looming over Paul in an intimidating and threatening manner. I’m hoping he doesn’t do anything.”

A third said: “I honestly think Kit will kill Paul in his last episode in a last-minute shock twist in an attempt to punish Bernie and take everything away from her, starting with Paul. Kit made no secret he hates Bernie, he’s also helped Gemma.”
