Coronation Street’s Leanne Battersby faces turmoiI as cuIt Ieader Rowan tightens grip

In upcoming scenes on Coronation Street, Leanne Battersby is confronted with a heart-wrenching dilemma as she is increasingly drawn away from her family by The Institute. Leanne, now under the sway of Rowan Kliff, the cult’s leader, is being lured with promises of a reunion with her deceased son. In a disturbing twist, Leanne has been interacting with a digital version of her late son Oliver, a virtual representation that mimics what Oliver might have been if he had lived. This AI version has caused Leanne to withdraw from her loved ones, spending more time online.

As Rowan’s influence grows stronger, he intensifies his efforts to isolate Leanne from those she cares about. Next week, viewers will witness Leanne’s painful decision to distance herself from her sister, Toya Battersby, who is undergoing a critical surgery. Rowan convinces Leanne that focusing on her own well-being is more important than supporting Toya through her operation. According to reports, this manipulation leads to a shocking turn of events where Nick Tilsley, Leanne’s partner, remains by Toya’s side, much to everyone’s surprise.

Meanwhile, Leanne is consumed by her commitment to The Institute, even as Amy Barlow announces plans to invest her inheritance into a new Resource Center, pending Ken’s approval. At the hospital, a consultant informs Nick of complications with Toya’s surgery, prompting him to urgently contact Leanne. Rowan, however, does not let her leave easily and continues his manipulative tactics to sow discord between Leanne and her family. He confronts Leanne about Amy’s investment decision, but when she dismisses the matter, insisting she must be with Toya, Rowan realizes he is losing control.

Upon reuniting with Toya at the hospital, the situation escalates further when Nick confides in Toya about his feelings for her and his intention to reveal this to Leanne. Meanwhile, Rowan pressures Nick for a £2,000 investment or threatens to expose his affair. As Rowan’s grip tightens, Leanne’s struggle between her loyalty to The Institute and her family deepens, leading to increasingly tense and dramatic developments.
